1. Introduction
Welcome to Monvo AI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Monvo AI application and its premium services ("Premium Service" or "Pro"). By accessing or using Monvo AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Please read these Terms carefully, especially the sections regarding Limitation of Liability and AI Accuracy.
2. Service Description & AI Disclaimer Crucial
2.1 Service: Monvo AI provides AI-powered expense tracking features, including voice input logging, receipt scanning (OCR), and data visualization.
2.2 AI Accuracy Disclaimer:
You acknowledge that Monvo AI uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data. While we strive for high accuracy, AI may occasionally produce errors, hallucinations, or inaccuracies (e.g., misreading a receipt amount or miscategorizing a transaction).
Verification:
You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all data before saving it to your records or using it for tax/financial purposes.
No Liability:
Monvo AI shall not be held liable for any financial losses, tax penalties, or accounting errors resulting from your reliance on AI-generated data.
3. Subscriptions & Payments
3.1 Billing: Premium Services are billed on a subscription basis (Monthly/Yearly) or a one-time payment basis (Lifetime). All payments are processed through the platform you downloaded the app from (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
3.2 Lifetime Access: "Lifetime Access" grants you access to premium features for the lifetime of the Monvo AI product. If the product is discontinued due to unforeseen circumstances or business adjustments, the "Lifetime" subscription will terminate effectively at that time.
3.3 Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
3.4 Refund Policy: All refund requests must be directed to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. As a developer, we do not have the ability to process refunds directly. Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective app stores.
4. User Conduct & Account Security
4.1 Account Usage: Your account is for your personal use only. You may not sell, rent, lease, share, or provide access to your account to anyone else. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy without refund.
4.2 Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Monvo AI is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account.
5. Data Privacy & Security
5.1 Data Usage: We respect your privacy. Your receipt images and voice data are used solely to generate transaction entries. We do not sell your personal financial data to third-party advertisers.
5.2 Third-Party Processing: To provide AI functionality, necessary data (anonymized where possible) may be processed by trusted third-party AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic). By using the service, you consent to this processing.
6. Modifications & Termination
6.1 Service Changes: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service (including specific AI features) at any time. We will notify users of significant changes.
6.2 Termination: We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Malaysia.
